Winners Announced

The 2008 UK Jewellery Awards took place on the 17th July at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane. The awards evening was given something of a style makeover. This included a spectacular, theatrical jewellery catwalk show. Our celebrity host, soul singer Mica Paris, who also presents the BBC television programme What Not To Wear, also performed her new single, live on stage.

It was a tremendous evening where we awarded and applauded the very best in our industry. While jewellery sales are not immune to economic downturns, great brands selling beautifully designed and crafted products in an inspiring retail environment by enthusiastic sales staff, who have been trained and motivated by the very best of employers, will not only survive threats of recession but will be able to prosper in lean times.

My congratulations to the winners of the 2008 UK Jewellery Awards - the brands, people, products and employers that are an inspiration to us all.
